IT WAS ALRIGHT

PROS: Interesting idea. You don't see many flashes around here about an ant colony. I like you're idea of what a ant hill looks like in the inside. The ant character were drawn well but maybe you should add more shades of brown and some shadow effects to make it look more detailed.

CONS: Really i thought you're choice of song for this flash was bad. It seems that some sort of marching or war anthem music would be more suited for the ant atmosphere. The animation wasn't all that smooth either. An example would be the kids foot stomping on the ants. It was just choppy and crude looking. And another thing I was hoping for a detailed accounting for an ant's life... instead the flash ends abruptly with some kid stomping on them. I guess this is realistic portrait of an ant's life, but I would like a little more to happen than the ants just to die real quick.

OVERALL: A neat little view into the authors idea of what a ants life is. However I think it should have been longer.

Needs some improvements

This wasn't so bad, but it needs a lot of work. The graphics need to be more polished. Instead of using the paint brush tool, try using the pencil tool or try using the line tool. Reason being is that these tools, if you use them right, will make your graphics look more clean and smoother. I actually didn't get the reason behind this animation. Was it supposed to be random? And also, the ant's legs when it walked didn't move at all. Next time try at least moving them so that it seems like they are walking. The music didn't really suit the animation. The music you inputted fits animations that provide at least some action or violence, or some animation that involves more movement so to speak. There also wasn't any sound effects. When the queen any gave birth to the little ants, you could have put a fart sound of some sort. And at the end, when the ants got squashed, you could have put a squish sound as well. Overall, next time, try to polish more the graphics, put some kind of storyline or plot of some sort, add sound effects, make it much more longer, and it'll be a much more better submission. Good luck on your future projects.

Summary Points: Improve graphics, add a storyline or plot, put sound effects and if chances permit a song more suitable to the animation, make it much more longer.

That was pretty cool - just a little bit on the short side! It's quite a good idea you've got there, so I was hoping to see a bit more done with it. But maybe you're planning a follow up some time? (looks hopeful)

Anyways, the graphics were pretty good but they could be better. The sound was good. I like the song. The concept was very original. I don't think I've seen anything like that.
