1st....Plz submit this to the flash tutorial collection!

This is a flash tutorial on point-perspective and 3D.
There is only one song throughout the tut.
Hope this will help you!

Cool.

Straight and to the point (no pun intended :). You make it very clear and understandable even for someone with no drawing skills. This should definitely be in the collection. It makes me want to draw something! 4's. ;)

GlueyMcGee responds:

thx alot

Good topic but..

It as good to see a tutorial on 3d and perspective but it didn't really teach you that much. It was really about how to copy a picture you drew. I agree with the poster below about being able to apply what you learn. If you put a little more work into this and learned more about this yourself this -could- be a good tutorial.

GlueyMcGee responds:

k...thx

elsewhere on the internet

+++ You pick good subjects to teach. Perspective isn't really shown in any tuts on NG.

--- I think your tutorial doesn't really teach the concepts well enough. Any monkey can follow instructions to copy a simply picture, but we want to learn how to use those principles for our own ends!

---- Dodgy bottom lines in 2-point perspective end and wonky-looking example of 'what you can do' make me think that maybe you don't know the subject well enough to teach it.

--- Zooming in revealed that your 3d text uses quite a few instances at the lighter shade - whereas your text suggested we should use one for the same effect.

+ Some fairly pleasant tune.

I don't think you should teach stuff unless you're able to fully implement and explain the principles properly.

Better tutorials exist elsewhere on the internet, created by accomplished artists.

++ Some nice music.

GlueyMcGee responds:

This tut isn't for advanced people, more fore noobs, and at the "what you can do" example at the bottom it's written"and much more"
Your not supposed to some in.

Thanks anyways!

I'm Sure This Is Helpful

This could come in handy for people who are looking into making flash (me not being one of those people.) I liked how you put it nice and simply how to do the stuff without any words which idiots (like myself) wouldn't know. And it looked like the stuff that you said to do actually worked. Good job.

GlueyMcGee responds:

Thanks man

flash tutorial!

really sweet, man. do you know where I can get a good flash maker??

GlueyMcGee responds:

A good flash maker.....
Surf aroud NG and find a style of flash you like and PM that person.
