Ok but, WHAT?
The game idea is great. You really don't see a lot of fair made BMX game. The game looks pretty good and the level though small was fairly entertaining. The game felt fairly limited because of the delay between tricks. It is still an ok game but, a "batman flip", skate boards flip their tricks. If your not sure what to call the tricks you see go to 23mag.com and get a website entirely devoted to defining the tricks on a BMX bike for people who dont rideas well as the history and other junk.
The game had other minor flaws that can hopefully be worked out in future installments . The 360 fully resembled the spirit of the Indian. The flips would have been nice to rotate yourself insted of a button to give the full feel, but most games fail to deliver this minor pice of fun. The lack of a bunny hop feature severely limits the creative use of levels. As stated the level is small but fairly crafted (*golfer clap*) Perhaps an addition of rails or ledges would be add to the gameplay.
Though many problems present themselves this is a good game fairly built and visually balanced. The trick system while buggy is still ok for an online game. The obvious problems are trick names level size and a hop feature. This IS one of the better side scroller BMX games on the net. But if you feel the need to play a BMX game with some fairly entertaining 3D fun try "BMX Park"
