This flash is a birthday gift to a friend of mine so the text revolves somewhat around celebrating one's birthday. I finished this animation this afternoon and quite honestly I don't expect it to survive long. I just like that isolated, pensive feeling I get whenever I rewatch this and perhaps you will get it too.

really enjoyed it, i would habe been happy, if it was longer. i bet you like movies like "lost in translation", huh? :)
next time longer and with a few more changes of the view and ill give it full pts.

Aye I would have been happier if it were longer too but the circumstances didn't allow for it.
And actually, I've never even heard of 'Lost In Translation' so I'll suppose I'll go out and rent it or see it on TV. :P

Heheh, thanks! But I doubt I'll get an award (but it'd be awesome if I did). I think this will be one of those flashes that people will enjoy but only for the moment it's under the spotlight and after that it will fade away into the clump of other flashes out there. Anyhoot, thanks again!

Never have I been so moved, I don't know why this does it to me, but I'm actually tearing up, please, try to replicate the beauty of this flash in another some time.
