It's a nice message, it IS true that today's culture is one of pessimism, but it would help if people looked on the bright side once in a while.

Another update!
Well, I responded to many comments that more animation is needed, so I added a few tidbits here and there to make it more interesting.

I do understand that there is very little motion to the film. ^^; I'm still a beginner, as I've stated. This film will probably be updated again once I've managed to learn more motion tricks. But thanks again for giving me ideas for improvements!
While this isn't my first Flash, it's one that I would really like to show to the public. Something that will make you think. I made it for those who are thinking that there is no hope left in the world, as well as those who find happiness in it. I want to thank a special someone that I love for inspiring me to make this.
I'm only a beginner at Flash, but my hopes will be to make wonderful animations in the future.

did you get a lil emo today? you could have added at some some animation... like a shooting star... her hand moving on the grass... wind... you know...
the text was a lil too fast, and quite a bit of it.
and dont get me started on lifes philosophies...

Very nicely done, but could improve
The subtle music and low ammount of graphical movements really helped bring out the simplicity and power of the message. Though, you could have added a bit more movement to it. I would suggest investing your time in doing vocals and lip sync-ing, it would probably improve the flash quite a bit.

Animation?
Where's the animation? It's more of a static drawing with text. Well, there's the eye blinking and the star at the end but that's almost nothing. Keep working.
