This is my third submission to Newgrounds. I really put effort into this one and I hope ( considering at least I've seen crap way worse than this still on the site ) that this will get in. Enjoy. If this is well recieved I will continue the series, otherwise... Yeah.

I won't be continuing the series because I have been practicing in Flash for about four months now and are fully able to make a real Flash. Sorry guys.
And by the way, yes. Yes I know Samus is a girl, I've played through every Metroid game ( even the very first one ) painstakenly. Just the characters don't know that so it's considered a "he". There you go.

this was neat, had some really nice looking sprites and very smooth aswell, im not much for this style but it was ok, nice animation and decent music aswell.

not a bad job, kinda reminds me of TMA. Anyway i think it just needs a little work, not sure if the samus being a he was intentional or a mistake, but anyways good job i think you should definetly make a sequal
Erm. Samus is still a she. Just they don't know it. Like when you first played the game you might not off ( I sure as hell didn't when I first played it when I was five )

SAMUS IS A GIRL, OKAY? A GIRL! SO WHEN THE CHARACTERS ARE TALKING ABOUT SAMUS THEY SHOULD SAY SHE INSTEAD OF HE!
Okay... Um Oh and I know. Yeah, it's an Artistic thing. Y'know... They don't know who it is... So therefore they don't know the whole story. Yeah... Thanks for your input.
It needs work
It shows promise, but this whole premise, the video game sprite crossover where the main character is the ONLY one who can stop an evil plot, is hopelessly clichéd. The Metroid music at the beginning was out of place, Samus is a GIRL and Bass as a villain is yet another cliché. Besides that, most of the music was alright, the animations were decent (though they could use a little extra work) and the sprites were mostly well ripped. Just try something a little more original.
Eh, I can agree with you here. I'll try to add some more originality into my next one and I've played a lot more metroid than people who have been alive like ten more years than me and knew about it... I get the picture guys.
Who is Ristar?
Wow those backrounds were beautiful. A recomondation is get rid of the heavy metal soundtrack, it feels really out of place.
Thanks for your review! It does feel a little out of place at times, I agree. Maybe atleast when I do play the metal, it shouldn't be such a nice looking backround.
