This is a parody of Action movie trailers. Its Sid Wormington's debut and he'll be appearing in other spoof-trailers in the future, depending on how much people like this one, hehe.
Just to be clear, the film's title at the end of the trailer is nothing more than a cheap joke we thought of at the last minute and no, this is not going to turn into a real feature animation. Its just a parody :)

This creation is part of a University assignment, along with two other animations. I worked on it with my friend, Luke, who helped come up with the idea and provided some excellent artwork. The two photographs in the animation near the start involving "monstrous birds" and "a deranged psychopath" are in fact from the other two animations which unfortunately, we didn't finish.
Big thanks to our friend Chris who did the music, big thanks to my other friend FuelKat for creating the awesome earth-exploding sound effect at the end, and a not-so-big thanks to my dad for providing us with a voiceover nothing like the cheesey deep-voiced American bloke who narrates ALL the real-life action movie trailers out there, which I asked for. But it turned out to be far more amusing to us this way. :D

Nice graphics and good story behind it aswell as some very good humor, gave me a laugh or two, but i like the character most of all, seems like you could make a long series with that character, nice job.

that was a pretty cool animation... i think that it's a big shame that you aren't going to continue onwards with this one... it does have some great potential to be a good series. i liked the Sid Wormington character, quite cool and original. the action and violence in this one was pretty intense, was very entertaining and it was a blast to watch. hopefully you change your mind and continue on with this idea.... i for one, would love to see this continued onwards.

I have never seen more of a solid flash piece then this one here, in the field of a tralier that is. I am alittle angry once again that you havent made a movie of this but have just stuck to an action packed trailer which i guess in the end is not that bad. Your graphics were good too, i liked how you moved off of stick ppl and have decided to try your luck at worms, although simple, look alot better.

Good Job Ratfaceeee, its almost perfect; the only thing missing is a big robot dinosaur! I hope this animation wins some awards or gets on front page, it rox. The sound for the explosion at the end is particularly good ;)
