I managed to see the original of this one on Putfile, and I can see the differences in here. Some of the timing is off, but it's still good!
Just give sticks a chance! This is the first part of a four part series. Three of these parts have already availible for viewing on newgrounds and considered "good enough" for this site. I went back and fixed up most of what was wrong with the first episode making it a much better cartoon all around. Please don't blam it, that way the whole series is on here rather then the end missing the beginning. It should just barely slide by as passible. It is by no stretch of the imagination the best cartoon of the series, i progressed and improved over time making the episodes also a progression in my own skillz in flash.
after you see this i encourage you to check out the rest of the series. which is also getting a needed face lift soon!

The artwork is very simple, crude stick figures and a sort of unfinished look to near everything else. But that's not a big deal, the things that turn this movie around are the incredibly fluid animation and above all else, the very funny humor. It's a short little episode, helping to build-up a character that could be a fun series headliner. The audio was pretty good, I liked the voice, and some of the sound effects. With some improvement, who knows what could happen.

YOU STOLE THAT JOKE!
atliest i bet
well the idea of trying to kill yourself and then immediately going to watch tv losing iterest i kinda took from JTHM (the early artwork in the full book) but the hammer falling out of the gun and gods intervention is all me.
great story. awful graphics.
I would have liked this so much more if you had just gotten someone else to do your graphics or taken just a bit more time with the layout. Your storyboard was great, but the graphics were so bad they were distracting. What was with the buildings moving when he was looking out the window?
Points go for humour, story, effort.. but it's visually off-putting.
Not bad.
It had me laughing. Especially the note from God...
Though I'm sure he knows "Deus Ex Machina" != God Machine. It means God -from the- Machine, translated literally.
