Music = Color

***Second Update: Why does everyone keep watching this movie? This one is my first movie, and it sucks! I have a much better one, called "Habitat." Watch.

**Update: My first submission... A humble beginning, indeed.
This is a little tween/frame-by-frame flash I made that promotes the audio portal on newgrounds. I think that people don't pay enough attention to it, and they should. Music = Color, after all. I hope you like the timing of the sound effects with the animation in this one.

The song at the end is an original composition by me, which can be found on the audio portal.

Compared to spitball, this is crap. I think the point was a little weak, and the drawing wasn't good. But your drawing skill have improved, so i cant really tell you anything that dont already know.

Keep making toons as good as spitball.

And more locust toybox always makes me happy

Needs a lot of work.

The graphics were as a basic as possible and extremely sketchy.

And the colors weren't meshed at all. You need to work on your color scheme.

I liked the idea of this which is why I gave it a 2/5 but the way it was done didn't have enough effort for anything close to a 3/5.

The movement and flow was really screwed up too.

The sound I liked but I think you might have wanted to choose a more classic newgrounds audio.

For a beginning flash it's good.

The style of your drawing seemed to stay the same in your flashes.

I'm sure you'll probaly end up deleting this because your going to get really good at flash.

Anyway I'm going to go check out and review your other flashes. :)

tricolor responds:

word... this movie was the first attempt at animation. my drawing is much better than all my flashes now, and i will delete all these movies soon. well thanks so much for these helpful reviews.

Pretty good public service announcement

Well done. I don't really get the first part, but it's cool. An overall satisying clip.

-That rock looks like an...

tricolor responds:

Thanks, mate. I think this movie is kinda crap, now, because it's my first. If you didn't hate it, why not watch my more recent stuff?

The beginning just shows how important it is to have original music, and not Jason Mraz, or whatever.

fiver for the umm ahhh.... miser?

yay this is like the hum of my refrigerator, which is somehow related to a thing that they used to call "music"

tricolor responds:

dylan, i'm gonna whoop u like the afgani u are... haha. i know this one sucks, but thanks for the.. um... encouragement.

What an ingenious way to self-advertise your music

I respect this flash simply because it advertises the audio portal in general, the audio portal needs some more light shined on it and I'm glad you did this even though I know that the 100 people who may have viewed this, only 5 of them actually bothered to go check out the audio portal. I myself have known about NG for 5 years, been visiting it every here and then the past 2 years and I only discovered the audio portal about 6 months ago. The flash portal practically casts it's large shadow over the audio portal and hides it from the awareness of most people on this site =/

Anyways, graphic wise and stuff, it really wasn't that bad, and since you advertised the audio portal I'll give ya a 5!

tricolor responds:

Hahha! Thanks, buddy. I didn't just want to self-advertise my music... I was advertising everyone's music on the AP.. I just thought that my song fit the end part best. I also love the flash portal, and I'm not detracting from its greatness in any way. I respect the flash portal as much as I do the audio portal, since I'm both a flash artist and an audio artist. I just think that the audio portal needs a makeover or some increased visiting.

Thanks for the review, home's. I'm lovin' ur music, btw. Make a flash movie to fit your music!
