Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

The actual title is "If Only I Had Followed Through". Static was a early name for the song in the background. The animation itself stems from a dream I had. I think I've found my own personal meaning behind it, but I'd like to hear what you all think too. Thanks and enjoy.

This was pretty nice even if it was a bit too weird. I found the animation to be quite good. It was hard to understand what was going on. I guess if there were actual lyrics, it would have made more sense. I like the idea of stuff based on dreams. It makes as much sense.

I guess we all have nonsensical dreams like this. I thought it was a little too short. I feel like you could have done more with this. Then again, it's just what you dreamt. This was not great, but nice.

wooooowwwww

Deep...like tapioca pudding.

Wow...

There's something about this flash that I absolutely love, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It's very well done, spooky and quite somber, but there's that thing that makes it wonderful.
My interpretation of it (which is probably way, way off) is a faceless person just like everybody else trying to get away from conformity but as much as they try to climb higher and further away from it, it always seems to catch up to them. The ending though.. I'm not sure, but I felt as if that was his mother? I don't know, but that was my interpretation of it. :]
Keep up the good work, can't wait to see more pieces like this!

Thanks for the review.

Though I've never actually said it, it seems like everyone says that is a mother figure.

Another amazing one!

Wow! You know it kind of reminds me of Silent Hill 2 now that I think about it! Him rowing across the lake to seek the one he loves. I think perhaps he is either insane, or on the verge of death (like he tried to kill himself too, and this is him in his final thoughts). His mind is forced to live through watching his love one over and over die again. As he tries to save her, the world swallows him up as the terror goes through him. He loses her, and loses the will to live. Yet he still exist...but what really is existence...? which kind of floods into the next story. It does change quite a bit of what I think about the other. I really wish I watched this first, oh well.

I am planning a third. tentively called, "Liar."

Heres how i see your dream as...

They way your dream/animation spoke to me was:

You left behind you loved ones long ago for a selfless stupid boring life that led you no where. Meanwhile your folks and loved ones stayed supportive to the end when you forgot about them.

They continued to cheer from the sidelines ( even though you couldnt hear their cheers ) until they all vanished one by one.

By the time you realized what you had forgotten you went back to find them all dead, death of a broken heart but still cheering and watching and waiting for the return of their little star who gave it all up for a selfless life....

well thats how i see things -hope that helps! ~Cya!~-

interpretation is the most rewarding part of animation.
