For those of you who dont know, ABC World News Tonight anchorman Peter Jennings died last night. He had lung cancer, but however for not that long. The cancer spread pretty quickly. This is my memorial to him.

You dimean the name Peter Jennings

If your going to make a flash on the best news anchor in history you need to make it not about your own opinions on smoking but on his life, just like passion of the christ: that movie should have been about his life not how he was killed; anyway i did like the part of where you said Peter was there, but i still believe that you shouldn't use his death to advertise no smoking because we already know about the dangers. Just....... do better tributes in the future; and make it about their life.....not about how or what killed them

It was an OK tribute, but...

...it would have been a LOT better if you would have spent more time covering things about Peter Jennings' life and career instead of turning it into a public service announcement. Does anyone living in America today NOT know that smoking is unhealthy?

we lost a good man.....

It was good of you to have a tribute to our departed friend Peter Jennings, however the whole peter interviews peter was not so well. I see you angle against smoking but it's all done wrong.

Peter, may you rest in peace.
May someone have the skill and courage that you had in life, as well as dedication to the people....amen.

hmmm...

I've watched Jennings every evening for as long as I can remember. I like that you decided to take the time to create this flash in his memory, but your whole ‘Peter interviews Peter’ was rather tactless. It was very facetious of you to promote your anti-smoking agenda through a memoriam for an icon who just died. There's really no room for humor in something like this, and even less room for propaganda.

It was good

I have to admit, your interpretation of the situation is alright. And many others will think otherwise of how you interpreted the death of the greatest Anchorman ever (that is, to me of my generation). Overall, I think what you did was meaningful of your own way, and I thank you.
