I never made this video with the intention of submitting it to newgrounds, but a few people have suggested it to me. It went over extremely well in my English class as a replacement for a very boring plot summary.

oh well, it was a pretty cool animation with a better plot to it then the novel itself, with some awesome music in the intro. i could've been a little longer, but im glad that it kept the original theme to it..... glad that it went well in your english class too.

First of all, I must say it's very brave to try to translate Lord of the Flies into Flash. On that note, it's also very difficult. The fact that you started at Chapter 8 didn't help a lot of people who haven't read the book. All the facial expressions were unchanging, which I admit is a bitch to do in Flash but is something that needed to be done with such a story. The other boys besides Ralph, Jack, Piggy and whats-his-name all had similar hair. That was only a tiny bit annoying, though. Also, every single scene had just a bit too much blank space at the end of it, it got kind of annoying waiting for a scene change. OVERALL: your style is good and you have good ideas, but Lord of the Flies is waaay too big for just 5 megs.

Definately something you would have to read the book or watch the movie to understand for. I thought that was much better than either the book or the movie. If you made the whole book into a flash I bet you could get a little moolah going on that series. Just a thought.
