The Road to Obion

Share Collapse

Author Comments

The setting is 200 years in the future, during the American Dark Ages, after the desertification of the southwest and midwest states, reaching as far east as Obion, Tennessee.
The songs are original, the animation takes cues from Terry Gilliam and Ralph Bakshi. The photographic backgrounds remain the property of their original owners.

Very nice very much does remind me of Ralph Bakshi but also a RPG from the 90's lol I like it. Pretty sad though for some reason this animation effected me why? I do not know.

Surrealism Strikes Again!!!

I loved it. It's very much like Ralph Bakshi's style with the photograph backgrounds and that "Where do you go? Where do you hide?" thing.

Not bad, a bit dull, but good visuals.

Hey, Gilliam and Bakshi, good combination, those are my top influences. Only difference is my Flash sucks too much to submit. I definitely saw Gilliam in there, but no sign of good-old Ralphy boy. Is there anything I'm missing?

The frame rate could have been higher and the music seemed a bit fragmented. Otherwise, good stuff.

Interesting

Cant really say what it was that kept me watching, because its not the best animation..But it was mysterious..and kept me interested. Not a bad film.

ok

personnaly this animation wasnt really my thing but the flash itself was quite good and the music was ok
