Although several weeks ago Genocide Monkey was just a "small" idea I came up with at 4am, now that I'm done, it's my favourite game I've made so far. It's a little different from the normal Flyborg.net style. I made 11 unique levels, each with it's own look and game play style. Plus it's under 1mb (yay). It may start out pretty easy, but by level 11 chaos is in the air (and I like chaos).
Fly a magical monkey god around to collect floating sky gems, and then use them to attack the islands of new worlds in the dimension of Azneer. The correct jem must be used for the desired destructive effect on your puny enemies. Happy monkey-induced genocide! ;)
Hints and notes:
>It's your CLOUD, not you monkey, that takes damage. So you can often "sneak" by a meteor or evil bird to take a gem if you're careful.
>No island type is immune to the volcano gem, so save it until it's needed.
>You win a level once your destruction quota is reached. You loose if you let too many islands escape your monkey wrath, if you touch the ocean, or if your clowd bursts.
>Yes, it was fun creating this game.
*Controls*
Arrow keys: Move around
Space: Use fire gem
Shift: Use ocean gem
Ctrl: Use volcano gem
End key: Quit to main menu
Avoid meteors, birds, and the ocean. Collect gems. Destroy islands. That's pretty much it.
UPDATE:
>Increased meteor speed by about 20%
>Increased evil bird speed by about 10%
>Final level now has 100% island frequency instead of 90% like it had by mistake.

Not a very good game keep trying
not too good
u get a star! several times, i went right into a gem but didn't collect it, and then it took me a minute to figure out that u have to run it over with your cloud
Yeah, this isn't exactly programmed well. :p
