Author Comments

This is just the first level of Joe Frenchfry. Please review review and review and tell me how I can improve and if there are any bugs. Read the instructions very very carefully. The instructions are key to the game. If you don't know what to do, it's not fun. The objective of the game is to get past that big guy who is blocking the way out of town. Enjoy and please vote :) If you like it I will absolutely make more!

Not bad...

but it could still use some improvements. The grpahics and animation were passable and the sound was okay. What really shows some promise is the whole interaction thing. The magnifying and talk bubble thing was a great thing about this game. You could still work on the flash a bit more, but this wasn;t as bad as I was expecting.

Pretty Cool.

it wasnt what i'd call addictive, but it was fun to play it once. and like other people said: make the guy move faster, thats what bugged me. and for the the people who are complaining about the graphics, TURN THE 'Q' THING OFF! other than him moving too slow and the side-scrolling bug, it was pretty cool. and i gave it a 9 for interactivity because you can use ur magnifying glass to click on things and it says funny things like "every game needs a dead stickman" lol anyway, pretty good game! 4/5

((( FUN )))

Haha once in awhile we get fun games such as these, not over powering dominating games, but good clean fun, and thats why i liked this one cause it was fun and very addictive, love the art style like the main character it was great and funny at times so i was pleased and well entertained, hope to see more soon...

Woot no more walken on water stuff much has improved BY ALOT good game buddy 4/5

Aha, much better

Oops, I didn't know this was here when I reviewed the preview version. (Maybe you should take down that preview so that people will stop mistaking it for the "current" version.)

Overall much improved! The voice-overs are a nice touch. "Well, if you'd bring me a blue berry pie from Mama's kitchen..." =)

Suggestions:
* It might be a good idea to position the speech boxes according to the speaker's proximity to the edge of the screen. i.e., ensure the text is never cut off by the edge of the screen. Maybe even go with the traditional RPG method of freezing player action and centering the text box on the screen.
* Requiring user input to advance through dialog would be great. Some text goes by too quickly while others don't fast enough. It all depends on how sleepy or alert the user is...
