OH MY GOD

That was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen... I swear I felt like I was one of the characters. I felt their hopelesness, anger, confusion, and motivation. I have never been so affected by a flash movie. I was literally shaking. I could feel tears coming into my eyes at the beginning. Raimi took the words right out of my mouth...
"This is fucking CRAZY!"

And then, you top it off with my favorite quote from the Bible.

This series is godly.

And it's not even over yet.

The DVD does this better.

It just does.

That being said, this Act does what it sets out to do - give people a chance to breathe before the climax. Information is revealed, showing that the plot the heroes assumed was the true depth of the series was just a sham, a ploy used to feel the weak and allow the true villain - and I use that word loosely, as I agree with his principles, if not his actions - to ascend to something very much like divinity.

The music is perfect - low key, quiet and secuctive, like a lover in the dark. Kamimura taking control is well done, and a needed point here; Kami begins to try and resume control of his life, and as the wisest of the 'Saints, guides the other remaining two. Good stuff.

The final bit, with Gabriel, Shandala, and the... Other... is also well played, and is moving us very swiftly towards a Climax that is unlike anything outside of Watchmen, the Dark Knight Returns, Sandman, or the other classics that helped to create this genre.

For those who don't like it because the story doesn't appeal, that's fine. I've mentioned before that this is not for everyone; it was a more European pacing than an American one, which makes it difficult for some people. Also, the story itself is dark, winding, and deep. There's certainly simpler, or happier stories, but few that have more depth, feeling, or emotion. It's good that you gave it a chance to entertain you, and I'm sorry it hasn't - perhaps some time later. For those of you that don't like because it 'isn't flash,' whatever that means, or because you lack the ability to understand it, my previous statements still stand.
