This is a well-beloved series on newgrounds for a reason, this series just have such a fantastical charm to them. I certainly got drawn in the world of Brackenwood before long!

For me, Flash is the perfect medium for any storyteller to reach a global audience... even if I do eventually become a live-action film director (one of my ambitions) I will probably continue to use Flash in some capacity. I love it like a brother :)

20 years ago, on this site dedicated to flash archiving, it was a normal day, people stressed by life watched funny animations, boys who had no way to buy games played here, and shitposters, well, shitposted, but on that day flash appeared, which changed this site forever. On that day a legend was born that will be told to novice users for all time, a legend compared to which correct animations were shallow, the legend I will now talk about is about "Brackenwood", the series that set a new direction for more ambitious creators, the series that gave us Bitey the Dashkin, a hero who was the antithesis of previous Newgrounds heroes, he didn't kill in the name of nonsense creeds, he just was mean to others because it gave him joy in his empty life. Let's pay tribute to Chluaid, the artist who drew the line between technological limitations and beauty.
