Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This was originally for Halloween of last year but never got around to finish it. I decided to end it differently from what I had planned. It's my first animation that isn't based on other people's characters.

The intro is simple as I want people to focus on the movie itself.

I hope you enjoy it and I will be looking forward to any feedback, both positive and negative.

Enjoy :)

Edit 1 - I switched the loader to one with a play button so it doesn't loop.
Edit 2 - WOOO! My first award, a daily 3rd. I'm so happy. Thank you everyone for voting for me. :D
Edit 3 - I swear I must be dreaming.....FRONT PAGE!..OMGGGG..I'm bouncing up and down with excitement and joy and everything. WOW. THANK YOU NEWGROUNDS AND E VERYONE. If I didn't have a horrible sunburn right now I'd go out and celebrate. :D

Reviews

@ Burning-Wookie.

Don't tell him his movie went flat, and then give him a flat review.

You complain about the excessive scenes, telling him to just get to the nitty-gritty of it, then suggest he adds scenes that aren't necessary; like when he panned over the portraits. We don't need to see flashbacks of the other murders to guess what happened.

Also, seeing his apartment was necessary. Why? It built atmosphere. And atmosphere is good.

@Keith: I liked it, but I felt as though a more silent ending would've have fit this movie a lot better. Overall, enjoyable for what it was.

It fell flat.

Super flat. The whole thing went nowhere, by title alone I was able to piece what was going to happen and the "Twist" Or "Climax" just fell through. The hype building to the execution was just bland and monotonous. And then the after effect of the new victim coming in was also played out.

Here's some things I felt could've given it a bit of a psychological oomph;
~There were other portiraits, showing the Artists 'Works' while panning across each one, just show in a quick flash how the event came to be instead of just panning over them.
~Had the door just slammed ominously as she entered the apartment and it cut straight to credits. I feel the scream at the end was really cheesing the whole thing and made it more "lol death" than horrifying.

~Nobody needs to see a murderers apartment. Front door, hallway, art room. I couldn't care less if he had an electric or gas stove. It was only a few seconds but for a first time viewer, those seconds feel much longer than a repeat showing. You got them to click play, show them the nitty gritty off the bat.
~~~Addendum: If you are trying to draw it out and get them hyped up, got with more 'portriats' of the artist's vics. Make it seem like he's been doing it for a real long time. Make him seem like a absolute monster.
Anyway, that's just me, You seem to have some favorable reviews and hey, you got frontpaged. So enjoy it man. Someone saw potential in your stuff so keep up the good work.
So.
I would kill myself if I had to live in an apartment that had a stove clock which beeped every time a minute passed.
It was decently good; I myself wouldn't be able to make something like this; but the plot itself was kind of blah.
crap
see what u were trying to do but for me it was boring
Hmm
It was well animated and all but the story was rather lacking. I get how it's this creeper that paints women with their blood, that's an interesting plot. However, all he did was paint the outlines, that disappointed me. It would make a lot more sense if he would paint them realistic, either after their death or not. But I don't know, that's just how I understood it.
