A long time ago, when the Zork ruled supreme, a lone fighter from Earth came and destroyed this barbaric race.
You play as the pilot, the controls are simple:
Arrow Keys move your ship.
Space fires lazers.
P.S. This is my first flash EVER! Yay for me! Anyway, the graphics are supposed to be like that, and the preloader is retarded and I don't know how to fix it. So, :P

The shield, I thought lasts a faily decent time, but I guess I should have asked someone else for their opinion. I designed it to make you both invincible and get point for running into ships, so that you can keep your hit percentage as close to 100% as possible.
Thanks, I tried to make the bosses as comical as an 8-bit style game would allow.

Not bad at all
While it isn't any new, or terribly interesting, it takes a simple idea and does it well. Although it is too simple to retain my interest for longer than 2 minutes, it was fun for those two minutes, something a lot of newgrounds games can't do.
However, I have 2 suggestions
1) Include a loading bar, it let's the player know if the game is working
2) Make levels, not just a never ending loop of enemies

Unfrtunately, yes, it is that short. I was having a problem putting in another level (It kept skipping it) so I gave up on it. I wish I knew a little more about flash and progamming before I started, but this is what I get for going in knowing nothing, I guess.
