it was pretty cool and i know your going too want too kill me for this but it was like dbz because of the high powered fighting and i did see some ideas that looked like you got it from alvin earthworm luigi in the blue turtle shell still i dont mind this was pretty awesome

Ok that really did remind me of DBZ because there were parts where the punches were insanly fast and the running was insanly fast and you said there was no flying in the air...yet there WAS much flying. Also, in the very beginning, for some reason, mario teleported right behind luigi, and it was very...MBZ-ish.

please...no more DBZ/MBZ crap on teh newgrounds...

I knew it. You owe me $5. Though you could have made $5 if you didnt follow the faggy MArioBaalZee fad. Animation was good. The plot was pretty bad. Keep making movies.

Hate to say this but, it isn't really original!
Yes we shouldn't be comparing it with SMBZ, but you did take concept from it! The fighting style, effects and humors:/

Well if you are going to be making a full flash movie Cast of Shadow. Don't give up!
You need to make the storyline really good and griping if you want a Win!

The music in the fight round 2 didn't really fit the battle, it surely fits SMBZ :) (no offense).

Mario seemed to be stronger than Luigi, Luigi seems to fight too stupid. Please make them equal. But I did like the part Luigi was throwing punches at Mario before entering the first tunnel.

Fight style you borrowed from SMBZ, Mario performing the "blow to the gut", "multiple punches" etc. But at least you didn't make it seem like SMBZ/DBZ (fighting in the air). But if you want this to be that original, don't make them fight like SMBZ: fighting really fast:/

The humour you used, Luigi upper cutting Mario, and the music breaks...that doesn't even fit the situation.

But anyway...I'll be looking forward to the full episode. Surprised you managed to create a flash that the quality looks so much lie SMBZ:O
Just come up with more innovative fight choreography and original battle. Show off different background rather than the ones in SMBZ.

Music used in this battle was good, I like the intro battle music:) But don't use music from SMBZ.

Reduce the humor jokes, unless they would really make us laugh!

Talk about an unoriginal concept. But hey, I figured if it got Daily 5th, it must've done something right!...

It did not.

While the sprite work was OK, it felt very slow-paced and boring. The Mario World idea was kinda good, but was executed poorly. Besides, if all that was going to happen there was Mario getting a Mega Mushroom and Luigi getting a shell, don't you think it should've been... oh I don't know, in NSMB? As far as I know, there aren't (and if there are, not many) sprite fights with those sprites, and it would've been interesting to see.

I'm trying my best not to compare you to SMBZ, but come on, you used a lot of the same effects and styles and... oh my God, is that the signature SMBZ fight music? Jeez, man, there are plenty of other songs (here on NG even!) that you could've used! If you're gonna rip something off, try to make it a bit more seemless. ;)

All in all, I wouldn't say that this is a terrible flash, but it's far from great... and by looking at your author's comments, I see that you even agree. I'm no sprite basher, I love sprites, but I believe a little more effort could've been put into this. :)
