Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Well this is a dumb movie. Actually I like it and believe the ones who played nintendo before will understand...and remember those good times :)

Reviews

I must have experienced this thousands of times ..

Yeah, I played my NES even when the SNES and Genesis were out. By that time, my NES was old, and well, this happened quite a bit. Eventually, my younger brother and I got used to this problem. Fortuneately, it doesn't happen anymore ... I took out my Nintendo six months ago and played some old games, with no problems.
ANYWAY, good job with this movie. It's as true to the actual experience as you can get.

Lucky you, my mom had a store, we had 3 NES and all of them ended up working this way: flickering, pitch black, ect.

AUGH! You made me remember!!!! ....cool!

I used to babysit my little brother at the age of 2. I would use my gameplay skills to keep him entertained. The ONLY system we had was the NES. So, I was going to introduce him to Mega Man 2. I turn it on. First, I get the green flicker screen. Then, I got nothing. I blew harder. Then, I got the green screen again. I blew about 8 times and actually passed out. Then, I got my NES taken away for a week for 'sleeping on the job.' That week sucked. Thanks for the memories. I now have something to laugh about. :)

Let's say I'm now a victim of sleeping in class 'cause of PS2, that thing is evil.

Man I hated it when my NES did that.

Hell, I remember this happening a lot. 10 years later, I finally solved the problem by replacing the 72-pin connector inside the NES. Now I don't have to 'blow' into the cartridges anymore, even if the game pak's connectors are dirty. ^_^

Nice trick.. if only I hadn't trashed it 4 years ago...

......... (shiver)

now I gave it a 3 even though normally it would get a 2, but the 3rd point in Interactivity was givin because I had the OPTION of throwing the controler at the screen... god I remember that far to well, I'm an old school player, and I still play the old NES! and yes, it's STILL DOING THAT. (grrrrr) but you can't beat Gauntlet,Ikari warriors, ect. some games are just fun to go back too especially with some friends. (sigh)... meemmmmories.....

I just played duck hunt and Contra last week, god my eyes hurts.

eh.

all too familar.

<deleted> responds:

Yeah, let's say it's the best achievement I'll ever do with flash, so consider this as my one hit wonder. Just let me add I never saw such movie like this on NG before, I might be the number one mercenary out to destroy copycats in this community.
