Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Yes... while Hiro Shitaku is fictional (means, not real...), the remaining goodness in this "edu-mation" (at over seven minutes long) is accurate, and with a bit of comedy, will explore the history and techniques of the Japanese animation industry. I had a lot of fun making it, and I hope everyone enjoy's watching it!

** Disclaimer: to avoid confusion, Hiro was not a real person. However, all of the techniques discussed in this film were instead created by the industry as a whole to deal with their insane production quotas. Learn, laugh, but please don't take this film 100% seriously. Sorry.

Reviews

This was great!

Educational documentory. How many have people seen and never watched? But my oh my, i watched this one with depth, i was hooked!

Yes, Hiro is a fictional character but i would like to believe he was real seeing as this was so well concieved. The little Otaku dude was neat and simple, the movie cleanly animated too with sounds and gestures in all the right places. I don't know why, but seeing Otaku stroke Chibi the cat made me smile and feel all warm inside =^_^=

I can't find any faults in this. It was well done, great sound, a humour theme running throughout that didn't get in the way, and it taught me things even i didn't know yet i am a HUGE oriental fan!

10/10 (My first ever! Feel proud ^_^)

Short but entertaining and educational

It was short but it was great to learn. I wish I could say anything else but I'm too lazy right now.

Well done

I enjoyed watching this. It was entertaining and educational. Although it wasn't true, ti did show some insight to techniques that were used to make anime easier to animate.

Disclamer

I think the fact that you had to put up disclaimers almost funnier then the flash itself. But anyone who likes anime should should watch and people that don't like anime should probably watch too. Good job, I wouldn't change a thing.

Good Job!

That was a very good movie. And there was a few factual things in that too. However, I think chibi just comes from the word, chibi (cute; kid). I liked the video though. (And yes I realize it wasn't really meant for education.) Good job!
