Does anyone know when weird al's releasing his next single because i can't find anything about it.

I haven't heard anything about a new album or single as of right now. I'm sure he is working on one but he's still on tour right now so he can't record anything.

Yeah, right before Fry unfreezes Poly Shore, he walks by a bunch of freezers and Weird Al is in one wearing an "Eat It!" shirt. I caught it and laughed. :P

i am a wierd al fan also i would like to join and also do you know about weird al's # 27 legacy? havnt you noticed in most wierd al songs the number 27 is in it? like in the song the hardware store remember that part "every (27th) costumor will get a free bull point hammer"? then the number 27 apeareed in most weird al songs a person interviewed him and al said "27 is a funny number" so now people found about 1000 27s in the history of Al. *also this is my first post on BBS*

Yes I've noticed the 27 thing. It's like a running gag that he throws in to make us pay attention to details. 27 is even on some of the merch that they sell.

My friend heard Canadian Idiot and Amish Paradise and loved both of them, so I'm letting him borrow my cds so he can sync them to his iPod and enjoy.

Thats a nice thing about itunes and other mp3 things. It lets you easily share and spread the songs and artists you like to your friends.

Al's current tour has finished. No new dates have been added yet, so we'll need to keep a lookout when he starts back up again. Hopefully he'll come to a venue near me.

Al has just released a brand new single on itunes! Here is a quote from his site:

Took a quick moment to prod / beg him to come to the UK for at least one gig with his tour for this next album. It's just got to be done, before I die!

I haven't had a chance to download the song yet. I need to get some itunes points first. I'm glad he's working on a new album. I'm guessing that it will probably be out sometime near the summer of next year. I'm sure they need to do lots of recording work on it as well as work on the album art/pictures. I'm eager to see who he is spoofing this time around as well as where his tour goes.

I finally got a chance to listen to the new song. Very funny and appropriate for the time right now. This makes me look forward to the new album even more!

heh I know the feeling. Still no word on the name of the new album or when it will come out. I'm excited about it anyway.

I haven't really kept up with popular songs (sad I know) so I really don't have a good idea what Al could parody this time around. Any thoughts or ideas on this?

Of all the parts of a new album, I'm most looking forward to the new selection of videos - in Lynwood, he did a lot of style parodies, with only about 3 or 4 actual song parodies, so it could really be a mixed bag this time around.
