I done some research and found out the problem!

Apparently flash is very specific on what it uploads mp3 and wav.

with the wav problem you will have to convert it to make it specificly a wav file, instead of some other one.

with an mp3 flash does not like mp3's with a bit rate over 160kbps.
to over come this you will need the newest version or quicktime or one of the better or later versions to import songs over 160 kbps.
and flash will use quicktime in the background to make it work.

anyway Muffinman9 have you got quicktime??? cause i do not have flash or quick time.
on this computer and i can send u the fla. then u can do it if possible?
or i'll try and get this done some other way...

speaking of multiple parts, i still wanted to do that second part of mine. i don't know when i can animate again, but if you aren't planning to release for a while, hopefully i'll get the pc back quick enough to do a second part

hum. since there isn't a main background loop, it has to be more creative than usual.

We could always be not-so-original, and draw a tv set with buttons to go between parts and just have tv static for like a half a second between parts :S

thats gonna make the file size MUCH larger!

I nominate the deadline to be the 23rd of November. That should give people 5 more weeks to finish their part/s. Hopefully this thing will be finished by Xmas :)

If the song is to big you might want to change it in the properties library thing...
and add a stop song at the end so it does not go over to the next persons part!
