You didn't put down Mrmilkcarton's idea "embody something of nature in your song". I think this suggestion would make for an interesting MAC.

yeah, this time on my userpage. The online polls are easily corrupted by people getting their friends to vote on what they want. This way they'll have to show themselves at least.

How about bringing back a collaboration/team Mac. I remember a lot of people wanted that instead of the emo theme. That might be a sweet one if we can get some random pairing going.

Also, how about a song based off a sample. Choose a crappy sample and everyone HAS to use it in some way, shape, or form. That might turn out well.

I also like the nature and epic letdown themes.

Nope. We did away with that when the regulars decided not to judge in order to compete. Anybody is allowed to vote but I have strict guidelines which will help me determine which sets of votes are worth beans. I can explain these guidelines later if you want.

you missed nal's DAWless competition- if thats too much for NG, than you can go with Quarl's organic competition where you make everything from scratch.

I didn't include the DAWless theme. I didn't think we'd get enough submissions to warrant prizes.

Or an awesome story. Maybe one of each? Two different categories. I think I mentioned something before, but I'd love to write something short up for the competition. I think it'd be cool to have a story that's 1000 words long to compare against a picture (you know, the whole "a picture's worth 1000 words"...)

I can whip something up tomorrow. If picture is chosen over story, and you're one of the people who went with picture, that only means one thing: Guilt trip. I'm going to pour my heart and soul into that story!

the only reason i dont like the picture idea is because just a few months ago we had a very similar MAC- making a song for another image, all the same, that one was a short video clip. I just want to have a more original competition personally :/
