Xbox 360 'can't Read Disc' Error

I shall try and keep this short to avoid creating a wall of text with 'bitching' spray-painted all over it.

BASICALLY, My Assassin's Creed is frucked - when I try and go into Acre I get the 'Can't Read Disc' error and overall it's pissing me right the fruck off. I was just wondering if any faithful NG users could enlighten me on eradicating this problem. Returning the game is not an option so I presume I need some kind of method for cleaning the disc.

If anybody can present me with a successful method that fixes my problem I will pay $10 (AUD) via PayPal which is about 9 U.S. dollars.

1. I know the disc is the problem because the same thing happened in my friend's 360.
2. Don't say 'buy the game again'.

Some game stores have a disc cleaner behind the desk (i.e gamestation); which removes scratches and such

My xbox360 slashes my disks if i play them to long,dead rising my favorite game got ruined...AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT XBOX360.

There are home remedies you can do or buy scratch removal stuff from a store. Honestly, for the price your offering, you'll come out better just to do a search yousrelf on ways to treat/clean disks, and just spend it on buying the products.

Also, cleaning your lenses would be nice. I had to do that with regular xbox after so long. Dust just builds up and needs to be removed.

well, a good method is to get glasses cleaning spray or windex or some type of glass cleaning spray and spray the disc and dry it off with a paper towel or a rag or your shirt. Works for me every time with my 360 :)

step 1: get some pledge

step 2: spray the pledge on your disc making sure it covers the entire disc

step 3: put the pledge'd sprayd disc somewhere safe and wait for a minute or 2

step 4: wipe the disc with a damp cotten cloth.
