The University issued a warning to the students to not go to class too, and yet they still did.
But what I keep thinking of is that since some people I know go to that school, it would be kind of unreal if I found out that they had died or gotten hurt.

So some new information:
The shooter was Steven P. Kazmierczak, a graduate student going to the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, which is where I go to school. There's no motive for why he did it and why he chose NIU, but it's kind of creepy to know that someone like that even went to this school.
And look at his picture, he just looks creepy as hell.
