At the bottom it will say "save as type"
Open that, and highlight the JPEG and then save. And then you should be good to post pics from paint.

If there's no jpg/gif option while attempting to save from Paint, you may need to try this fix that will give you the proper filters for saving in other image formats (if you're using Windows 98/Me/2000).
