Damn, I really thought I had a great two weeks and would have made over 1000 blams easily. Like I'm really surprised by this, so I suppose I must be saving more then blamming or something... I'll take a look:

Since your last update I grabbed a total of 1,511 b/s. 823 blams and 688 saves.
Overall 61% of my b/s points are blams, but for the past two weeks 54% of my points have been blams. Looking at those numbers I have definately been saving more often then usual.

I'll need about 1,850 b/s over the next two weeks in order to reach 1,000 blams next update as long as 54% of my b/s points are blams. So it's doubtful I'll be getting over 1,000 blams in the foreseeable future.

Or I could be wrong about all this. I did fail grade 10 applied math after all. =P

Man, this is turning into a routine. I wonder how bila feels about being knocked out of the top 5. Now it's a fight to stay in the top 10. As usual schneelocke is making more than twice the points I am. Lets see how long my 5,500 point buffer keeps wolfie at bay.

You might want to take a look at the FAQ

You get Blam/Protection points from voting on under judgement submissions. Under judgement submissions can be found at the top of the left hand column in the Flash Portal. The 'Under Judgement' submissions have a grey background.

If you vote 0 or 1 on an under judgement submission and the submission ends up getting blammed, you will recieve a blam point. If you vote 2, 3, 4 or 5 on an under judgement submission and the movie ends up getting protected, you will recieve a Protection point.

If you voted to blam a submission and it gets protected, you will not recieve the point. Also if you vote to save and the submission gets blammed, you won't recieve the point either.

You won't receive the points until the submissions are actually blammed/saved. In other words, you don't recieve the points as soon as you cast your vote.

Submissions are (currently) deleted if they fall below the listed score at the listed number of votes:

150 votes - 1.0
175 votes - 1.25
200 votes - 1.60

Getting a certain amount of Blam/Protect points, causes you to reach a higher B/P rank, which gives you a boost in voting power. Look here to see how many B/P points you need for each rank and to see how much additional voting power each rank gives you.
