Work on the redesign continues... The design and CSS is 99% finished and is down to the small details at the moment. Ross and James are programming around the clock to make all the dynamic features functional and we're planning to add some more web servers for improved performance.
The goal of the site redesign is much like the goal of our tank logo redesign; don't expect it to be overwhelmingly different than what you are accustomed to, but expect it to look better. As James noted recently on the forums, he and Ross took the whole code structure back to ground zero. Seven years worth of scripts have been re-written to provide a stronger back-end for the new front end and allow for many future improvements. There are a lot of new bells and whistles as well, I just hope everyone is happy with the results. We've been dying to unleash it.
Since I don't have much more to report other than "we are working on it every day", here are some plugs!

A few months ago, I visited my alma mater, Drexel University, to talk to students in their game design program. One of the students, Jimmi, was working on an on-line multiplayer game that I found VERY IMPRESSIVE. His game is now ready for public exposure!
You can log in as a guest and click the name of another player to play. You both need to click eachother's names, so utilize the chat window to find a match-up. Also, don't hesitate to watch the tutorial video. It's like chess with a large number of upgrade powers. The results are downright MENACING... You gotta play it. I hope his server can handle it. :)
