I swear, that stuffs' a wonder drug. No short term effects, it's cheap, doesn't show up on a drug test, and offers 2 differen't types of highs. If I do 300-500 mg's of the stuff, I just feel really stoned, but if I do 600-750 (750 being the highest i've gone so far), i'm so high that the experience changes all together. Closed eye visuals, mild hallucinations, etc. It's a great drug. Woohoo for DXM.

Well, the long term effect is kidney damage, as with any other pill, I'm sure. With limited use, though, there shouldn't be ANY damaging effects.

Ugh. Last night I did about 650 mgs of it, and I was just feeling hella drunk and woozy, though I did have the CEV's. Later on, at around 1:00 in the morning eastern time, I ralphed for about 10 seconds.

i had some good times on it but i dont really do it anymore cuz its kinda boring, i never did small doses so i dunnu what thats like but on high doses i wasnt able to do anything except for lying around and not caring bout anything, which is good but i prefer drugs that make things funner like speed x or booze :)

Personally I stick to shrooms, weed, and occasionally booze. I did acid twice, but I ain't gonna do heroin, speed, cocaine, x, or GHB.

There's a difference between occasional experimentation and addiction. I know the thread starter; he has done DXM maybe twice a week AT THE MOST.

I had that attitude towards DXM as well for awhile, i did it everyday for about 3 months... and i ended up in bad shape... my kidneys got constant cramps after awhile, and id end up puking EVERY trip i had, and eventually i quit it completely.... i havent done it for atleast 7 months....
Anyways yeah DXM is ok, i use to love it too, but now if i try and take it, i just puke and feel like shit, so all i do is pot and mushrooms now.... i have always wanted to combine Shrooms with DXM< because i know id be an awesome trip.
Anyways DXM is a very safe, and effetive drug, until you get addicted. (so don;t do it alot)
There is no such thing as a safe drug, even asprine can have negative effects on you... the very notion of that is oxymoronic.

Yeah, but there are drugs that have very little long term AND short term effects if used responsibly, i.e. not taken to the point of passing out.

I barfed the first few times I did it, no matter what the dosage, but now I can do 750 mg's without even getting nauseas. I'm thinking of trying 900 or 1200 mgs sometime soon but I'm worried if I'll be able to keep it down or not.
