Is there a way to make my flash (600x400px) enter a "full screen mode" using AS?

I want it so that when i open up my flash, you have the option to go full screen, is that possible? thanks for your help

**Double-Post

I forgot to mention that it won't work when your testing it inside Flash, but it will work when viewing the actual swf on your computer.

The fscommand() function is for use with the Flash projector program, meaning when flash is being played through an exported exe or hqx file. fscommand also allows for commands such as quitting, which is pretty cool.

So yes, fscommand functions are for Projector only.

Well 'comming' isnt a word, so I think thats a little hypocritical..
But yes, I see where you are coming from.

Also, if anyone finds out if it is possible, they should give a link..

YouTube does it, they have a full screen and normal size button on all their videos.

That is a matter of a pop up window though. It's pseudo-full screen, compared to the fullscreen within the Flash Projector, which is true fullscreen.

Ahh ok, well I rarely visit YouTube but I've only done the full-screen method on a trippy effect but the only other things I've seen on YouTube are Luis' tuts and a preview for Portals.

yeh like they said befor it only goes full screen whenyour watching it not in a web browser
but if you make and upload a page which has a swf file embed in it at a large size it would be a you tube like full screen

Response to Full screen 2006-10-16 05:23:46

i think you can now- but you need flash player 9
adobe talk about it on their labs page-dont ask me just look at flash playe 9 in google and its there somewher but i cant understand what their on about -ive tried it but its just not working
if you can understand their jargon please tell us how to do it

Response to Full screen 2006-10-16 05:42:00

i just figured it out- you have to change the html so it allows fullscreen so you wont be able to put it on newgrounds but if it was your own site thenyou would be able too
