I just read in a game magazine that it will be done by the company that did Big Red One (Which I've never played) instead of Infinity Ward. Will it be as good as Call of Duty 2?

Apparently the one for the consoles is being made by Treyarch. A decent company that has made a fair few succesful games in the past.
Only the Playstation version will be made by the creators of Big Red One.
I doubt Infinity Ward would let Call of Duty slide that easily.

Call of Duty 2 for Xbox 360 was by Infinity Ward.

Nope. Every single version of CoD 3 will be by Treyarch. I read it was supposed to be good, but I'm still worried. :(

Call of duty 2 - big red one lacked graphical feture. I guess thats why they made it for the xbox and ps2.

It better be based on WW2. I don't feel like playing another bullshit gulf war shooter.
Personally, I wish infinity ward would have stuck with it. They have experience from call of duty 2. I thought it was a great game, I played it religiously.
Now treyarch is making Call Of Duty 3 and I'm not sure I trust it.
Oh and there's on;y gonna be one version, none for PC.

Sorry, but there is a good chance it isn't coming out for the Gamecube. However, I am 99% sure it is coming out for the Wii, so you can still play it on a nintendo console.

Im looking forward to hells highway also. It seems more realistic than COD.
For instance in brothers in arms it takes squad commanding skills, were as in call of duty I can get 50 kills without dieing. I just hope hells highway’s multiplayer will be good.

Gamecube had better graphics than the PS2 and gamecubes were harder to break.

It all depends on what difficulty you have it on. Set the game's difficulty to "Veteran" and try running out in the middle of the battlefield, then! ;)
Anyway, I just read in a magazine that one improvement over CoD 2 is destructable environments. It said you could easily get away with hiding behind a rotting wooden box in CoD 2, but in CoD 3, a quick machine gun burst could GO THROUGH the box and rip you to shreds! Also, they said if there's for example "a German sniper" up in a watch tower, you could take a Rocket Launcher and blow him to hell! Along WITH the watch tower! It's that destructable! Not only that, but it is also said to be more
*intense.* They said more units will be on screen, and it will have improved draw distance. And a bunch of other stuff, too.
Now I'm starting to lean towards it looking like a good game. . .

All that's really left is The Pacific, and from the screen shots I've seen, it looks like Europe.
