game help (action scripting)

Hello evryone. I'm planning on making a game except i have no clue how to. The concepot is u use ur mouse and ur a ball follows u. i want it to be in a mzae kind of set out but i have no idea how to stop the ball from going out of the maze. and when it does touch the sides the game starts over again. so oes anyone know how to do this kind of action scripting. ill upload a picture of what i mean. if u think u have seen this post before then u probably have. i put it in programming and cant delete it. so if theres a moderator who reads this post could they please delte it. thanx

ok took your advice. got loads of tutorials. none of them gave me the write kinda actionscripting i wanted.

and to those to guys above. i drew that picture on paint cos i could be f'ed doing it on any other programme
