Vote on 5 differant movies or games. After you have voted on your 5th movie/game the screen that says your vote has lowered this movies score to blah blah blah, scroll down and you should see text in bold yellow, click that and your points will be deposited.

So could one of you please explain to me what the big f'en deal is with these experience points and leveling up?

As you gain experience, you will sometimes hit plateaus where you level up. The more experience points you have, the more your votes are worth, too. There are also a few special privileges and "secrets" you may occasionally attain.

Secret stuff,
To find out when you will hit your next secret or if you have a secret go on sign in (up top) and then in the grounds gold menu click on secrets, but dont discuss any secrets in the forum only assholes do that (it spoils it for all the others)
