Here is some concept art done in different styles if people are interested.

It might also be nice to see completly different characters, with the hero PIco looking different. But can be recognisable from the colour scheme. But have the same sort of attitude :D

Mindchamber's version is the official and best looking version of Pico. Workin off the concept art would b like makin a 2nd rate Pico or something cuz it doesnt have the feeling of the completed character the concept art developed.

I'm making my own version of Pico for my flash, I'm thinking that by now..... Pico has reached puberty and is a Teenager, unless tom wants him to be within a certain age group, cuz if he does, I'll have to obey! :|

Wel pico is cool so a pico day would do great on newgrounds.

I agree with that too I was just saying don't try to copy off of the early character designs.
