how do i stop sounds looping after a flash has stopped its driving me mad!!
Press F9 to open up the actionscript in a keyframe after the keyframe containing the music itself and type:
stopAllSounds();

If they haven't put the actionscript in then there's nothing you can do.
Try right clicking and selecting 'Play'(if it has a tick next to it at the time) to stop the movie.
Other than that press the 'X' in the top right corner to close it, or press ALT+F4.

Or go to the Audio Portal veiw some music and click on the 'phones (see pic) to stop all sounds.
Or you could just mute your speakers. Having a mute button on your keyboard always helps. ;-)

True, as my keyboard does. It's also got copy and paste buttons. No Ctrl+V for me.

Bah, my keyboard's got a few extra buttons, but the volume controls are the only ones I use, and that's only because my speakers' volume control is on the back of the subwoofer. (I hope whatever idiot designed that lost his job)
I've got an Idea that should work. First that drives me mental! as well.
When you want to close it then press refresh, then quickly close it while its refreshing it; it stops the music while its reloading it, but you gotta be quick enough (time you get to close it depends of flash size)
