Sorry if this comes off as a bit pedantic, but spam is allowed. There's an entire day dedicated to it on NG, and when you upload a submission you can choose the genre to be spam.

Either way, that's spam and stolen, so I removed it.

Thanks for clarification - and yea I see some "spam" passing along but I guess it's a bit tricky to differentiate between "good" spam and "spam" spam.
Least for scrub like me, heh, I don't flag much in the first place because of that.

You did. It's got copyrighted characters, and is leaning toward shovelware. Although this account doesn't mention it, it's got links to sites that have 'juegos' in the name, and those 'juegos' accounts do a lot of stolen/copyrighted content game submissions. They usually pick a username that's close to the game they're submitting; MLPjuegos, frozenjuegos, Mariojuegos, juegosSophia, juegosLuna (several posts above this), etc. If you see something like that, you're probably going to end up with something to report. Well, summer is almost over - and you can tell that yours truly has spent too much time indoors in the air conditioning, running long nights on a laptop (between the heat and my normal levels of insomnia, I get about 3-4 hours a night, maybe). The good news is that I did land a full-time, flexible gig with a decent consulting company, so at least I can get paid for screwing around on my rig - and lurking longer hours in Newgrounds.

Anyways, it was a good month for our regular crew of stalwart soldiers who never give up and never surrender. DefTonesfan665, Decky, Jolly and Asandir are still doing a great job of maintaining the balance in the portal - well done, crew! *Salutes* Decky even managed to climb up a local rank to #14, well on his way to become a Commander.

Keep up the good, comrades - the portal is a better place with all of you in it!

With school starting up again now, we might see a drop in general portal entries - except of course for the shovelware bots who keep blindly dumping crap on a daily basis. Maybe we might see an increase in actual quality flashes - I can dream, can't I?

On a parting note - Clock Day this year, like the past few years, was a non-event. I miss those years when August 15th rolled around, and the portal was overflowing like a toilet for 24 hours - it was like shooting fish in a barrel! So, where have all the Clock Crew gone? Guess they had to grow up sooner or later and get real jobs. Ah, the old days...

It has been a good month for Newgrounds activity. I found The Portal to be jam packed, not all of it good but Blam points are points to. Clock Day did help some.

When a submission is reported it is a added to a list which is seen by the Mods and will be reviewed in due course. If the submission you reported is removed you don't recieve any kind of notification I'm afraid.

For a while, that was the only way. Now, however, any submission you flag correctly will gain you a whistle point. :) Whistle points are not visible to anyone, so there's no way for anyone to tell you how many whistle points you have. But, one day, you all of a sudden notice that your whistle color and rank has changed. :3

I found something very fishy while voting on the judgement section.
The " Latest Deposits " window got filled with the default tank man image (which I never saw before), all those deposits were made with minimum time difference (which made me more suspicious of it), so I gave a check to those accounts.
All of them have no content, all of them were made in the same week on this year, and all of them have identical stats.

I spotted 12 of them (there may be more), and I really doubt all this is a tremendous coincidence.
