I don't like it..Looks like a banner ad.
It has no life in it somehow..please make a new set, with grey-black-yellow-ng-style.
I do like it, but I have to agree that it will have to grow on me first however..but change is always good =o)
newgrounds needs a redesign, everythings becoming more and more inconsistant.
It looks funny, pity they aren't moving. I kinda like the gifs you make. Especially the blamming & protecting gifs they rock!

hey im trying to import a picture of sonic into Flash but i dont want its white background with it, it looks like a square. How do they do it in the flash movies in the portal e.g Mario vs Sonic?
I like the new nav bar - it would be cool if it had some kind of mouse-over effect though...

Tom-You should animate the buttons when you do a mouse over, maybe make them light up or something. I like them, although the colors seem sort of bright compared to the rest of the site. Maybe you could tone them down.
On a side note, the sound for killing the flash movies in the portal banner is really annoying. Maybe something lower pitched wouldnt be as bad.

Its too brightly coloured. Also in the portal have a little icon by the bus blow up when a movie gets deleted. Or be able you kill them.

Im all for new buttons and shit, even though the last ones looked great, but these new ones clash with the rest of the page.
They stick out like a sore thumb, and not in the HEY CLICK THIS BUTTON WAY but in the HEY IM COLORBLIND AND HAVE NO SENSE OF STYLE way :-/
Also, theres too much empty space in between the buttons, PLUS the buttons are too short horizontally soooo, just stretch the buttons out lengthwise YAY.
Then you can make the words bigger and easier to read
And they would look a million times better if you made them in Flash so you could add some rollover animations to them.
I just had an idea:
Have a CONTEST! Have anyone who wants to design the new buttons and send them to you, and the best design gets their work incorporated into the site!
It would be a way for users to actively contribute to the site they love! Not to mention it would save you the trouble of having to design them ;-)

THATS NOT A GOOD FIT THE COLORS R BRIGHT AND THE BACKGROUND IS DARK MAK THE ORANGE AND RED AROUND THOSE BARS AND CHANGE IT TO BLACK OR THE ORIGINAL YELLOW

It's not right. Increase the font. --I know, you're trying to squeeze 3 lines in -- but it doesn't grab your eye enough. New visitors won't even see those buttons. It makes the page look cluttered.
