I'm just wondering...does anyone here progress beyond the more generic music (ie mudvayne, metallica, megadeth, slayer, slipknot, pantera, sepultura, deicide etc). Just interested to know if anyone listens to some of the more underground grind like goratory and guttural secrete?

I'm trying to but it's hard when you have no money.
It'll be hard even when you do have the money. Most of the underground bands only do limited runs of their CD's, and you can't find them in CD stores. You generally have to try ebay, or order from their websites.
Just download from DC++ for now ;D
It will open up a whole new world of heaviness to you. You'll be in disbelief at the fact that music can possibly be that heavy.
