I remember there were two NES punch out games.. one had Mike Tyson as the end boss and the other had Mr. Dream or something equally gay, and I remember Mr. Dream being damn near unbeatable.

Reason why there was 2 punch-out games on NES is cause in 1990 Mike Tyson lost the belt and Nintendo decided to re-release the game and call it Punch-Out instead of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out,as for Mr.Dream he is the exact same as Tyson was, does the same moves and is the same sprite actually the only difference is is that he's white.

Yes, I still have it, and I tend to play it every three months or so, it's my favorite super nintendo game, too bad they had so few opponents, but still had lots of fun playing it.

I don't remember my times, but they were all under 20 seconds, but yours are very impressive as well.

The easiest opponent was obviously Gabby Jay.
And the toughest one was Rick Bruiser.

Even though they are all of the game characters are practically easy to defeat with practice, but I had a harder time with Rick surprisingly, his brother wasnt that tough once you get the hang of it.

I found Rick to be way easier then Nick,Nick was kind of like a easier version of Tyson with the quick punches that deal massive damage but they both are easy,if i had to pick the hardest it would have to be Hoy Quarlow but still like you said none of them are hard now.

THE GAME RULESSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Every character has a certain way they fight. If you learn when to dodge them and where there weak points are there a piece of cake.

Which one do you think is the gayest?

I think it's a tie between Haikai kagero (gay laugh gay hair) and Narcisuss Prince and his "perfect defence" unless you hit the queer in the face and ruin his perfect composure.

Jabby Gay wins gayest boxer hands down. :)

I've loved all the Punch-Out games, the arcade, Mike Tyson's, and Super. Hell, that's why I'm getting Fight Night Round 2 for the Gamecube over the other consoles just to get the Super Punch-Out game that comes with it.

Yes I was just browsing the net and saw that. That game has some nice graphics and the main character looks like the blonde little mac you play in SPOut. It looks like the creators are big fans. To bad they couldn't just make another punch out so they could use the classic characters. Although, I wonder if it's as fun to play a 3d boxing game as it is to play a 2d one.

yea i have that game. king hippo is impossible, and i thought the japanese guy was hard. the guy is like a retard and he has such good defense and strong punches... i wonder how hard mike tyson is... for hippo you have to punch his belly button and his pants fall down and while he picks them up you hit him in the head.... all nearly impossible

I was really good at it (not as good as you mind you but really good non the less) I could beat the game in 15 minues without losing a single match. The best part was watching the developers beat the snot out everyone.

It took me about a hundred times to beat Hoy Quarlow, man, that guy was tough to master. My favorite boxer in that game will always be the Bald Bull, mostly because he has the best finishing move in the fucking game, with The Sandman and Super Macho man in close second. The hurricane was pretty cool too.

Just read 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces' by Joe Campbell. Now I need a new book. PM me suggestions!

King Hippo is far from impossible all you do is wait patiently for him to open his mouth then it him in the face once then his pants will drop and then give him some gut punches and all you have to do is knock him down once and then it's over,as for Piston Honda (the japanese guy) just fight him as usual then around 1 minute he will charge you with jabs but right before he comes at you just give him one guy punch and he is KOed,now for your question on Tyson i will let you find that out on your own :) type in the password 007 373 5963 to fight him, have fun. :)
