Yeah, I got some nasty stuff a couple days ago, today, I just got another pop-up (it's not some hardcore crap and doesn't even show nudity, from what I see) telling me I can "Earn Millions With Your Own Adult Site". Well, I don't think I'm very interested so, it will just go on my list (pop-up blocker, delete, or whatever you want to call it) and I will never see it again. Hmm…why does it feel that female NG users are the minority here? This is probably because I usually do not see too many here on BBS. No offense or anything...I actually like females that share particular tastes...such as Newgrounds.

This is good. I was wondering why newgrounds had these ads poping up in the first place. Now personaly I just close pop-ups and don't give them a second thought. They remain nothing but an annoyance this way, but when it takes 5 min. to get rid of 1 ad it's ludicrous. Those pop-ups were acting like a virus, constantely creating more and more. I actually had to sign off because they wouldn't stop. I realize that the ads are needed but it's getting to the point where a nice Neutron Bomb should hit these places. Thanks for getting rid of those pop-ups and preserving my sanity. (what little I had to begin with)

Newgrounds is making a profit off of pop ups maybe not the explicit porn pop-ups because they are just squeezing into the pop-up community. ok they already squeezed in but now they are/were taking over. newgrounds can have a porn site. Listen moron, do you have any idea how much it costs to host Newgrounds? Think Tom can say "Uh, we have to many visitors coming to the site, so I need 80,000 of you to stop coming! Thanks!" Or would you want him to limit how much bandwidth NG uses so it's cheaper to host, but then no one would ever be able to get through (you think NG is slow now). The point is Newgrounds costs a lot of money every month to host, and the only way to make back the money needed to cover that is to run banners AND pop-ups. Banners alone won't cover it. As far as Tom not wanting hard core pop ups, users can decide what Flash they want to view. So if they are at school or home and want to be careful what they look at on the site, they can do that. However when a hard core porn ad POPS up, it could get them in trouble. Troma controls our pop ups and they did not give the ad company permission to run that ad. They worked hard to figure out what ad company it was coming from and disabled their ads. Troma is going to start running their ads again with their insurance the ads won't come from them, so if anyone sees them post a comment in here.

Ill explain better, sometimes it shows porn ads in the upper left corner of the screen of the internet window after i click on a Newgrounds link, clicking Refresh gets rid of it.
