yes the tunes should be recorded in the next fortnight or so, i have facilities at uni which im sure i could blag myself into. fingers crossed eh. i'll keep you all posted as to when these will be done. but ive got some stuff in cubase which need finishing off first.

Hah, I used to be one of them. he was the person who inspired me to look into reason 3 in the first place.

He's at that point in fame in my mind that if you dropped me in an IM convo with him, I would completely blank out and have NO idea what to say.

Alright, i am sick and tierd of audacity. That must be the most lame recording program scince, ever. Cakewalk dosn't do the trick for me either. Now I have come to the conclusion that I will pay for a program, but not willing to spend (which i've been searching for and just found) a $900 + program. Where can I find a cheap program that sounds good?

Heh, when I came to NG, I just spent about the first couple years paying absolutely NO attention to the Audio Portal.

Then I heard Chronamut's song Glistle on some flash or other.
Made me check out the AP.
Following checking out teh AP, I brought my audio noobishness to the AF.

You guys remember that... :p

I noticed Paragon/Bounce and figured "Hell, I can do that!"
Anyways, after that, I downloaded a copy of FL 3.4 (teh demo version)! It didn't have the restriction on no saving/exporting, so that's what I used for my first, crappy songs.
Then I noticed I sucked.
Got a bit emo at that point, but Chron, Khus and RGH helped me out from the emoness
(plus I'm naturally about as emo as Richard Simmons.)
Still realized I sucked.
Then came FL 5. Got a bit better... still sucked.
And finally, decided to screw around in Reason (what I still use today.)
And I still suck. :D
