Yeah, I agree. The random battles do get very annoying after a while, especially on FFIV, V and VI. I had to wait for the game to load the bloody battle. IX was a bit like that, but IV, V and VI felt like it was taking forever. :(

I have to say, Finaly Fantasy 8 was brilliant.

I loved the game, the setting, the storyline.

Yes number 8 is awesome.... although iveplayed it so much my discs are all scratched now and i need to buy a new one... but # 8 is reeeaalllly hard to find... it took me foreverto find it the fisrt time! hahah... squal's gun blade is the shit! hahaha

FF9 was the best if u ask me....but alot of people dont like it cause the charecters look too much like children :\
