Disturbing...

This afternoon I was in Jenkintown waiting for my car to get some work done on it, so I decided to stop by Applebees for some chips with artichoke and spinache dip - which to my knowledge is an idea they stole from TGI Fridays (or vice versa).

Anyway, while I was eating my chips, the song from this Flash movie came on the speakers. All I could think about was the disturbing visuals from that movie. Has anyone else had that happen?

In other news, iFilm has archived all of the Superbowl commercials on their site! I recommend checking out the Budweiser commercials, which are just about the only reason I watch the Superbowl (even Whassup was funny once).

Another interesting twist was the mLife commercials - their ambiguous (and crappy) commercials left my friends and I assuming they were some new service by Metlife - only to find out today that they are being sued by MetLife for that very reason. Haw!

can only speak native tounge...anywho at the end you can hear someone shout something..well if you have a deaf relative then you need captions..and the translation in CC was THIS IS A LIE!... i wonder if the mlife is somekind of conspiracy....

I went to that mlife.com website (after the suberbowl - it was WAY overpacked during the game), and it's apparently some sort of new wireless service. Probably some "super-duper" phone with internet and voice recognition. In other words - more Segway-type hype: a small advancement touted like the second coming. AT&T deserves to get sued and get knocked down a few pegs.

As far as Flash movies - I dunno, I thought that flash of you being... romantic was kinda funny! I mean, it's just stupid enough to be humorous. And the music is quite appropriate, considering it's Elton John... Oh, and I keep hearing that Daft Punk song "work it" a lot on ads and stuff nowadays.

Yeah, I went and watched that movie and realized that it STILL hasn't been blammed. I would have thought it would have had it the day I first voted on it, so I voted again and it still didn't blam.

I didn't hear about mLife getting sued by MetLife. That's a lot funnier than their Super Bowl commercials. I'd like to say that the Super Bowl ads kind of fell short this year. Maybe everyone is running out of idea. The Pepsi ones were probably the most interesting because of the different time periods covered in them...
