Yo, I make art using pens (mostly ballpoint) and like drawing bugs and friend’s characters. I’m trying to work on a horror comic, as well as a comic strip about deep sea creatures. But school exist so it’s movin slow. Anyway here’s some art I made that I like.

These drawings, textures, techniques and general skill are *insane*. Forgive me if this is a dubious compliment, but your art makes me think of older grimoires or storybooks of which within great demons or monster would be described, such as the Ars Goetia. Yet there is fright and levity, in equal measure, whimsy and wonder from the drawings of the axolotl to the terrible tendrils from the shadows.
And of course, the bee.
The tail, collar and external gills of the axolotl especially. Fwoly *huck*, that tail looks interesting.
And the old beetle man looks very cute.

Awesome shapes and textures! All very well suited to the subject matter. I think the detail and texture work may be a bit challenging to keep the action clear in sequential art, and I am looking forward to seeing your execution on that.

As for the portrayal of action, I was thinking about making the lines more messy in order to convey certain emotions. Idk how well it’s gonna turn out, but I’m hoping for the best lol
