I used open mpt and made (Fair and Fine tunes), but fl gotta be mastered; go big or go home. Now in open mpt there is one spot where I add a sound/Instrument, and then in another slot and only that slot, I can cut, change pitch, sample, loop, and reverse an mp3. Now on FL, Im runnin back and fourth! I need yall to give me a plugin that makes sampling less of a chore! Like, can a guy just get his sample done without all the bullshit? (Shaggy voice). It be a big help if yall tell me some good plugins that can get me back to my origonal grove. Dam I still cant spell that O word; google dumbin me down!

If you're on producer edition you have Edison and Slicex for that kinda stuff. I'm pretty sure you can do all you could on openMPT and more with any of them.

For a much, much simpler sample editor in case you find the previous too daunting, there's the Fruity Slicer, although I don't think it lets you set loop points. It is mostly suited for basic drum slicing as far as I'm aware.
