Name a work of media that you didn’t expect to have fanfiction, but somehow does. Feel free to elaborate on its nature if you wish. Let’s see if you can beat mine in terms of weirdness!
I’ll start with the movie No Country for Old Men. The fanfic is mostly about the villain and there’s some reader shipping in the mix, if I recall correctly.

Probably should have expected there to be Slash fic between Woodward and Bernstein.

Sadly, none of the fics included Nixon and only one included Deep Throat.

With only 223 words, it's kind of hard to tell. You'll have to figure that out for yourself.
one of the most heartwrenching and serious fics I have ever read was a bonus stage fic. (for context: bs is an early 2000s webseries filled with irony and pop culture references, it doesn't take itself seriously at all and there's maybe one (1) "emotional" moment through all of the 90 episodes.)
("What it Means to Have a Body" by PhilArgus on AO3, btw. even if you have no clue what this show is, you should read it because it's absolutely wonderful.)
