Hi there! I'm John, a freelance graphic designer who working with clients on various projects over the past few years, from logos to channel graphics to cartoon caricatures.

Here I will be sharing my past work, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Let's get started with this logo I designed for a content creator, featuring this original character for use on Twitch streams and YouTube channel. Based on her name "Myst", I decided to take the design a step further by incorporating mist around the character.

Just completed this logo for Wheat Coast, a business which is starting with just doing cookies and eventually plan to open a food truck selling deli sandwiches and cookies.

The client had the idea of a big wave out of wheat to visually represent their name.

Had fun designing this logo for a client. He wanted to feature a raven with a lake and half moon, along with some trees in the background. We explored some concepts and finalized on this one.

Just completed this logo for a youtuber called 'Majimeh', which is a play on the Japanese word 'majime' and the English word 'meh'.

The client wanted the design to encompass these words, featuring an anime character in his 30s who is serious about work but disinterested in the politics, stifles, or struggles of work.

A logo I designed for a client's business, starting with a board game they are creating.

They had the idea of a sword with the hilt looking like an open book and incorporating a dice to visually represent what they do.

A logo I designed for a cake business in partnership with a digital agency, featuring a bundt cake with one slice cut out and lifted.

I came up with a few concepts based on their vision, and we finalized on this design after a few changes.

A fun logo I designed for Socel, a Mastodon server for art creatives to connect and grow together.

Since the mastodon (essentially an elephant) is popular among the communities there, we decided to incorporate one as the mascot. I also included a paintbrush and pencil to represent the art/drawing aspect of the server.

A logo I designed for The Adventurers' Academy, a tabletop game store.

The client wanted the design to be inspired by a traditional school crest, but monochromatic and not too ornate. Also, it should ideally incorporate both aspects of fantasy and tabletop games.

Just had the pleasure of designing this logo for a podcast called Drunks on the Pond.

Initially they had the idea of incorporating a pitcher of beer on a baseball diamond to visually represent the name, but along the way they decided to include their faces as cartoon caricatures as well.

A logo I designed for a client's Dungeons & Dragons podcast.

He was looking for something with more comical and fun, featuring a cartoony d20 dice with a different facial expression on each side to represent the feelings the podcast is going to elicit.
