Hello!
I was originally scouted to the Art Portal back in 2021, but I just recently noticed a warning on the upload page stating that I have not been scouted. I'm not sure how long ago that happened, as I usually use a third-party app to post here so that I can schedule uploads in advance and spread them out (as opposed to dumping everything I've done recently all at once), and thus I don't look at the actual upload page often. It may have been a while ago now, but I only just recently noticed it.
The scouting system seems to have changed since I last looked at it, as it doesn't seem to display the scouter on the user's profile anymore, so I'm not sure if anything else changed that may have affected this. I've tried looking through the rules and searching the forums to see if I can figure out what might've caused this, but I haven't found much. I did notice the warning that mature artwork may be judged more harshly, which... I mostly just post porn, so that may be part of it. lol. And surely, my art still has plenty of room for improvement before I can really consider myself an expert.
One thing that I found odd is that I didn't get any message or notice about being de-scouted. The only message I even have is the original Art Portal invite from 2021. According to what I gathered from a brief search of the forum, it seems like people usually receive a message when they get de-scouted, so I'm wondering why I didn't get anything. It would be nice to at least be notified about it, perhaps along with a specific reason why. Whether I broke some rule that I wasn't aware of, my art simply wasn't considered to be good enough, or some other reason, it would be helpful to know what the problem was so that I can try to avoid it or improve upon it in the future.
Anyway, thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer my questions. I'm sure this comes up a lot, so I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here. :p
